14She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry at the School of Chemistry of the UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico) and her Master’s and Doctoral Degrees in Chemistry also at the UNAM.
While initially she started as a basic researcher in inorganic chemistry, her latter work focused on science communication and teaching. She has more than 20 years in experience as a teacher in levels ranking from high school to graduate level. Currently she is an advisor in the Middle-Superior Education Teaching Masters Program at the UNAM.
To date, she has given more than 20 courses for science Middle School teachers, and has authored and co-authored 12 textbooks for Middle School level. She has also written science communication articles for the magazine ¿Cómo Ves? and Eutopia, as well as designed and implemented published didactic material.
Currently she works at the Forensic Sciences Bachelor’s Program at the School of Medicine, UNAM.
